The month of May saw a number of local celebrations for Polypipe Building Products.
Tuesday the 15th May saw the North Midlands and South Yorkshire Apprentice Awards 2018, of which Polypipe was the headline sponsor. It was a great night celebrating apprentices from across the region, including our very own Thomas Eccles who was named a finalist in the highly competitive Doncaster Apprentice of the Year category.

Friday 25h May was 'Superhero Day' at our Neale Road and Broomhouse Lane sites, to raise money for the local Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
We raised £81.65 in total and Russ Hall, Corporate Fundraiser for Bluebell Wood, was on site to judge everybody's efforts. After much consideration, Russ chose Assembly for the best team award, including Tracey Parsons, Sheree Kelly, Alison Marshall, Wayne Taylor and Adam Fleran. The best dressed individual was Craig Rudd, who works in Stock Control at our Neale Road site.
The Best Team on Superhero Day was 'Assembly'.
Also on Friday 25th May, we attended the inaugural Club Doncaster Foundation Awards at the Keepmoat Stadium. It was a great night raising funds and awareness for some great causes as well as celebrating some local superstars. Some of the awards included Young Volunteer of the Year (Sponsored by Expect Youth), Sporting School of the Year (Sponsored by Rejus) and NCS Graduate of the Year (Sponsored by Thorpe Electrical).

It really has been a fantastic month for meeting customers and celebrating people in trade.
